The passenger vehicle market has long been a highly competitive one, so to stand out you need to offer an exceptional vehicle. One of the ways the 2018 Buick LaCrosse stands out is through its technology.
Tech to entertain
In addition to its other functions, the technology included in the 2018 Buick LaCrosse is able to keep both the driver and passengers entertained while traveling from point A to point B.
One of the entertainment systems which the driver sadly doesn’t get to use while driving is the available OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot. This feature provides built-in wireless internet access for up to seven compatible devices, including smartphones, tablets or laptops.
However, the driver does get to use a fair share of the entertainment technology through the LaCrosse’s standard Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ connectivity. Both provide the ability to pair a smartphone to the sedan’s infotainment system and use many of its apps from the car’s touchscreen.
Tech to enhance
The 2018 Buick LaCrosse also uses technology to enhance the driver’s abilities behind the wheel.
For example, the LaCrosse can be equipped with available Automatic Parking Assist. This system uses ultrasonic sensors positioned around the exterior of the car to provide the driver with cues such as which gear to be in, when to accelerate and when to brake, then takes over steering to gently guide the vehicle into either a detected parallel or perpendicular parking space.
Tech to inform
Part of being an effective driver is being well-informed, and the Buick LaCrosse comes with technology to help with that as well.
The Navigation system comes with the available Buick Infotainment System and uses real-time access to NavTraffic data to provide traffic information and offer directions. The system even lets drivers save favorite routes and destinations to prevent repetitive address-entering.
For information on the LaCrosse itself, drivers can download the myBuick app, which provides a brace of different points of data on the vehicle, such as key vehicle health information, parking location, Wi-Fi data usage, directions to the vehicle. It also affords the driver the ability to remotely lock and unlock the doors and start the engine.
Technology can result in many wonderful things, and one of those wonderful things is the 2018 Buick LaCrosse.
