Classy, comfortable and confident

The full-size Buick LaCrosse, which has sold more than 900,000 models since its introduction in 2009, is all-new for 2017 with a fresh face and new, more modern features.

The 2017 Buick LaCrosse offers a starting MSRP of $32,065—less than competitors including the Nissan Maxima, Toyota Avalon, Hyundai Azera and Chrysler 300. Consumer Guide writes, “The last LaCrosse was a roomy family sedan with upscale trim and luxury features, but the new one takes all that up a notch while adding the option of a sportier feel.”

The five-passenger LaCrosse is available in four trim levels: LaCrosse, Preferred, Essence and Premium. All models are powered by a direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 engines that makes 310 hp and 282 lb-ft of torque; this engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Active Fuel Management, Stop/Start technology and a 300-pound weight reduction over the previous model allow the LaCrosse to earn up to 21 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Front-wheel drive is standard on all models, but the Premium trim is also available with a dual-clutch all-wheel-drive system. Other performance features include an available HiPer strut front suspension, standard five-link rear suspension and Continuous Damping Control active suspension. A Driver-selectable Electronic Precision Shift and Electric power steering system with Lead/Pull Compensation are both standard as well.

The 2017 LaCrosse has a completely revised exterior that borrows cues from the Avenir concept vehicle. A new waterfall grille featuring the  Buick logo is the centerpiece for the new sleek and modern design. Wheels range from 18- to 20-inches, and High-Intensity Discharge headlights with LED signature lighting, a panoramic moonroof and heated exterior mirrors with LED indicators are all available.

Inside, you’ll find comfortable seating for five adults with the standard QuietTuning™ creating a serene cabin environment. All models are equipped with remote start, keyless open, the Buick IntelliLink® infotainment system with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ compatibility, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A new Teen Driver feature is also standard. You can also add leather upholstery, a Bose® audio system, a Head-Up display, 120-volt power outlet, navigation system and heated steering wheel.

The LaCrosse earned 5 stars in all four crash tests from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, on top of a Top Safety Pick designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Standard safety features include 10 airbags and a rearview camera, and you can opt for advanced features like Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, the Safety Alert Seat, Front Pedestrian Detection, Front Automatic Braking and Full Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Control.

The LaCrosse is covered by a four-year/50,000-mile Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty and six-year/70,000-mile Powertrain/Drivetrain Limited Warranty with Roadside Assistance Program for added peace of mind.
