Big Ups from Up North
Canadian visitor likes what she sees in Buffalo Niagara

I just received my first newsletter from the Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau. As a resident of Ontario who has grown up in Toronto, lived in St. Louis and traveled to New York City dozen of times in addition to traveling throughout most of the United States, I would have to agree with football player Paul Maguire (Buffalo Spotlight, March 2003). In all my visits to Buffalo, some for hockey tournaments but most for weekend or daily shopping trips, I have found the people in Buffalo to be friendly, down to earth and very proud of where they live. Buffalo (while smaller than Toronto) has many wonderful restaurants, shops and attractions. I would encourage anyone given the option to relocate to consider Buffalo. It truly is a city with heart.
