It's that time of year...time to start thinking of vacations and summer road trips!  This news means that it's also time to do a visual inspection of your tires.  Winter driving and rough roads can have a huge impact on the condition of your tires.  A good practice is to do a walk around every few weeks and perform a visual inspection of your tires.  You should look for any uneven edge wear, sidewall cuts and bruises, and protrusions from the side wall, which is usually caused by hitting a nasty pothole--we've all done that!

 

Along with a visual inspection, take notice if your BMW shakes or if the steering favors left or right while driving at highway speeds.  These are signs of a car that needs a wheel balancing or a 4 Wheel Alignment.
