BMW – Comfort and Convenience
Performance and comfort blend smoothly in the new BMWs.

BMW vehicles have gained fame for their excellent engineering and performance track record, not to mention that sportscar feel. Sometimes, the terms “sportscar feel” and “comfort and convenience” just don’t go hand in hand. You sometimes have to give up a little in one area to get more in another. That is not so with BMW vehicles.

A combination of exceptional driving dynamics and high-end creature comforts run through the entire BMW family of quality vehicles, and, if the standard offerings don’t satisfy your every need, BMW’s almost limitless list of options should include just what you’re looking for.

In addition to the performance reputation BMW has gained over the decades, the brand has long been regarded as a luxury line, and the quality of the materials used and the rock-solid construction methods underscore that. Materials used in the interior have a sturdy, yet soft touch feel, and BMW’s time-tested construction methods make for a super-quiet, almost silent ride, with wind rush almost undetectable inside the vehicle.

When shopping from the options list, you can mix and match to make your city commute or highway traveling as comfortable as possible. BMW offers many of its most popular options bundled into convenient packages, developed by BMW to enhance owner satisfaction.

For amenities, there’s Active Cruise Control, a step up from regular cruise control, to make those long highway miles seem a lot more manageable. Once activated, the system works to keep a set distance between you and the car in front. If you start closing in, the system cuts back on the speed to keep that pre-set distance. When you get to your destination, parking will be easier with BMW’s Park Distance Control. With sensors in the rear bumper, this system alerts you when the gap between you and objects behind closes.

When your BMW vehicle is in motion, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is watching over its movement, staying alert to oversteer or understeer, always ready to apply brakes or engine power to recover the vehicle’s traction.

For the long haul or the short commute, nothing soothes like a fine BMW audio system. The premier Logic7 digital surround sound system delivers concert hall sound through 13 upgraded speakers. Enjoy the available SIRIUS Satellite Radio, HD radio or bring your own music with easy access to your tunes through an iPod/iPhone interface or auxiliary audio jack.

Carefully designed seating provides the comfort and support needed to properly control your vehicle. Finding the optimum position should be easy with multi-way power driver and passenger’s seats, making the morning or afternoon commute just as comfortable as settling back in your favorite chair at the end of the day. Luxury seating surfaces and seat heating can help complete the comfort.

Connectivity is covered by available in-car Internet access, and getting from here to there (and everywhere in between) is made easy with the revised iDrive navigational system, which now has a more intuitive series of menus. From fine dining to the nearest gas station, golf course or gift shop, the new BMW’s will help you find it easily and quickly.

Everything is much easier with Comfort Access – a remote keyless entry. When the Access remote is in your pocket, you can open the car door simply by touching the handle. The engine can be started or stopped (when your foot is on the brake) without inserting the key.

These are a few of the ways that BMW has engineered your vehicle to bring you comfort, convenience and safety – all in a stylish package of performance that will give you many carefree, enjoyable, even exhilarating, miles.
