Text Box: Dear Tony, During the filming and editing of “Power Behind the Punch” I was fortunate to spend the down time training with Jeff Martone. Jeff introduced me to the basics of your SPEAR System. He explained the concept, showed me the outside 90, the nonviolent postures and we worked on the SPEAR strengthening drills. I was immediately very impressed with the simplicity and effectiveness with this system. Upon returning to the South Shore PAL School of Boxing, where I am a boxing and strength and conditioning coach, we put your system to the test, using top amateur and professional boxers along with some real street savvy police veterans. At first we followed your advice and I had them be the good bad guy… But soon it got competitive and I had them be the bad bad guys. To say that we were impressed would be an understatement! Your SPEAR System withstood the test better than anything I have come across, and I have come across a lot… In my opinion if you only knew the SPEAR System it would keep you out of harms way.
