Jeep® is most famous for its large, rugged vehicles like the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee. If you want that legendary Jeep® spirit in a smaller frame, check out the 2019 Jeep® Compass.
The Compass recently received a revitalized design, combining the best aspects of the previous model with the now-discontinued Jeep® Patriot. As a result, the 2019 Jeep® Compass offers all the performance capabilities, amenities and safety features drivers expect from the Jeep® brand.
Signature Jeep® performance
A Jeep® wouldn’t be a Jeep® if it weren’t built for off-roading. The 2019 Jeep® Compass has the ideal powertrain configuration for journeys off the beaten path.
The standard engine for all Jeep® Compass models is a 2.4-liter I-4 MultiAir® unit, producing an impressive 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. That engine can average 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.*
A comfortable cabin
In contrast to its rugged exterior, the 2019 Compass cabin offers an assortment of refined comforts for driver and passengers. The base Compass Sport comes with Auto Temperature Control and a set of rear seat heat ducts to keep the interior climate agreeable no matter the time of the year. The Compass Sport also includes the Uconnect® 4 infotainment system, complete with a 7-inch display.
Upgrading to higher trim levels, like the Trailhawk®, will give you access to an 8.4-inch touch screen display and leather-clad, heated bucket seats in the front row.
Safety for any journey
Whether you plan on taking your Compass on off-road excursions or prefer to stick to pavement, you’ll need the best safety systems on your side. The 2019 Compass comes with standard Hill Start Assist, Electronic Stability Control, All Speed Traction Control and ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera.
With a wide range of comfort, safety and performance features , the 2019 Jeep® Compass doesn’t just live up to the Compass legacy; it surpasses it.
