Bill Marsh teamed up with Bikes For Tikes organizers to help promote and collect bikes for kids of all ages. The results were outstanding.
“We were once again blown away by the generosity of this community,” says Mike Marsh. “It really shows how people remember the importance of a bike when they were young. And how they want kids today to have those same experiences even if their family can’t afford it.”
This was the first year bikes were collected at the new Bill Marsh Ford in Gaylord. That program hoped to collect 20 bikes but exceeded that goal and collected 27.
The bikes were distributed through Toys for Tots and supplied 12 agencies in the region.
The total of 336 bikes pushes Bikes for Tikes7 to 3,000 bikes collected since the program began 15 years ago.
