Welcome Autumn 2008

2009 Late Spring

Dear Friends,

Spring is officially here - baseball is back, the Bruins are a top contender for the Stanley Cup, and the Celtics are once again making a run at the NBA Championship. It’s an exciting time to be in Boston. There is also lots of excitement at the Boston Harbor Hotel as we prepare to open the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille this week on May 8th. The new restaurant will open just in time for warm weather, and guests can once again dine on one of the city's most distinctive terraces while enjoying the harbor views. We also look forward to the start of our award-winning Summer in the City Entertainment Series. We have a wonderful line-up of music and movies planned for the 2009 season.

There’s no better time to be in Boston. I hope that you will join us this spring at the Boston Harbor Hotel to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city.

Sincerely,

Paul J. Jacques
General Manager

KELLEY FOR ELLIE AT THE BOSTON HARBOR HOTEL

On June 1, 2009, the Boston Harbor Hotel will host an evening of fun, fashion and fundraising in support of The Ellie Fund. Kelley for Ellie was created by friends and colleagues of Channel 5’s Kelley Tuthill as a way to honor her for her dedication to helping others cope with breast cancer while she was fighting her own battle against the disease. The evening will feature lavish hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and desserts, a fashion show featuring the women newscasters of Channel 5, and an exclusive live auction. The success of this annual event allows The Ellie Fund to help five times the number of women and families it supported prior to Kelley for Ellie. Event proceeds benefit The Ellie Fund's Care for the Caregiver program, providing transportation to medical appointments, childcare, housekeeping, groceries and meals free of charge to more than 600 women and families each year who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer in Massachusetts.
