Roomy, powerful and confident, the 2010 Audi Q7 is also guilt-free.
Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi took advantage of their long history of engineering collaboration to build luxury SUVs with Audi’s Q7 being the last of the three divisions’ big vehicles to make it to U.S. buyers in 2006 as a 2007 model. Both Porsche and Volkswagen aimed their versions of this shared-platform wagon at buyers who needed only five seats, but the slightly longer Audi Q7 was designed from its beginning with three rows of seats able to hold seven passengers. It is only two inches short of Cadillac’s massive Escalade, yet it feels much more nimble to drive.
