BookExpo America will again open the Remainders Pavilion one day early this year, according to Lance Fensterman, Industry Vice President. The floor will open on Thursday, May 28, from 12:00PM to 5:00PM. BEA attendees will be able to meet more than 45 exhibiting remainder companies such as World Publications, Marketing Resources, Daedalus Books, Book Sales, Book Depot, Strictly By-The Book, Book$mart and also find value product such as Wordsworth Classics.
The remainder exhibits are located in aisles 4600-5000 at BEA at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. Attendees will need a special Blue Badge to gain access into the Remainders Pavilion a day early. No other access to the show floor will be permitted. This is the third year that BEA is opening the remainder floor a day early to introduce this viable product to bookstores. Fensterman also noted that it is a good way "to make new contacts by having a chance to meet with exhibitors before BEA officially opens.
