Hachette and Strictly Reach Agreement
Representatives of Hachette Book Group, Inc. and Strictly By-The Book, Inc. announced that the parties had amicably resolved their dispute that had resulted in litigation between them. The parties will continue their existing Distribution Services Agreement and look forward to restoring a healthy and productive business relationship.
Kenneth Michaels, COO of Hachette Book Group, Inc. stated that “I am pleased that the matter has been successfully resolved, and look forward to an opportunity to restore the former good relations that had prevailed between my company and Strictly By-The Book, Inc.
Erez Bredmehl, President and CEO of Strictly By-The Book, Inc. stated that “I am very pleased that the parties were able to reach an amicable solution to Hachette’s pending dispute with my company and look forward to an opportunity to restore and continue the prior good-will and good relations that I and my company have had with Hachette Book Group, Inc. and its executive officers.
