Go toward the light and you'll see. Go away from the light and experience darkness. That makes sense, right? So why do people look in dark places for bright ideas? People look for the answers in places where answers just aren't found.
Perhaps the best example of this is in the search for love. Many people go to the wrong places looking for the right things. But if you're looking for an orange tree, you're not likely going to find it blossoming abundant, juicy fruit in a wintry snow blizzard. Likewise, if you're in search for a tall Douglas Fir Christmas Tree, I can tell you that they don't grow wildly in Egypt.
Still, people look for love, happiness, and fortune in places where it simply cannot grow. In that same way of thinking, here's a tip.
Are you ready?
Are you sure you're ready? This is a big tip.
OK, here it is:
Look in the places where things are likely to be found if you wish to find them. Otherwise, don't make any plans for the next fifty-years. You'll be searching for the things that will never make you happy. They'll never make you happy, because you'll never find them.
Look where it is likely you will find what you want. If you desire advancement, locate yourself in the right place to be moved up the ladder. If you're not near the ladder, you can't reach the top of it.
If you want happiness, surround yourself in ways of being and in places that will generate elation and not letdown. If you seek something, it will be in its place. While you may have to wait to find it, make it easier on yourself by looking for answers in the right places.
