Time Critical Shipments
by Barbara Smith

Expedited guaranteed delivery via ground or air is available virtually anywhere in the United States, Canada or Mexico.  The delivery is guaranteed to arrive on time or your shipment is free of charge.  There are two types of time critical services:  regular guaranteed delivery and scheduled guaranteed delivery.

Regular guaranteed delivery means your shipment will arrive on the standard due date.  When calculating delivery time, it is to be noted that the pickup date, weekend days and holidays do not count.  Generally, this service will add 25% to the shipping costs.

Scheduled guaranteed delivery means you schedule the exact date and time the shipment must be delivered.  Arrival is guaranteed within the specified time frame.  While this is ideal for emergency shipments, the service is expensive.  Based on whether the shipment goes by ground or air, the freight costs could triple.  With most carriers, discount pricing does not apply to this service.
