Retail Interviewing Skills

There are three major steps in the retail interviewing skills program.  They are as follows:
1.  Preparation for the Interview

2.  Conducting the Interview
3.  Evaluation and Follow up of the Candidate

These three steps plus the detailed sub-steps which will be outlined over the next three issues are your keys to successful interviewing.  If you follow these steps, without shortcutting the process, you will achieve outstanding results in employee retention as well as improved store operating results.
In the next edition, I look forward to sharing the details of preparing for the interview...probably the most important yet least executed part of the process.
