Baldor is proud to announce the latest innovation for Mint WorkBench, the single software tool for all Baldor motion controllers, servo drives and H2 products. Within the Mint WorkBench, we have introduced a ‘virtual controller’.

This allows our customers to try out Mint programming for themselves and even test and develop Mint code offline, without the need for an external controller or servo drive such as the MintDrive-II. It can also be a great sales tool to demonstrate the software capabilities of Mint!

Baldor has received 1st place rankings for motors in several more trade publication surveys. The results of each survey is listed below. The question asked by each magazine to their readers was "who do you consider to be the top motor manufacturer?" or "if you could only choose one motor manufacturer, who would it be?". No matter how you word it, what it comes down to is CUSTOMERS PREFER BALDOR !!!

2007 Customer Class Schedule

Baldor's customer class schedule for 2007 is now on the Baldor website. For 2007, we have scheduled 40 classes covering 16 subjects.

We have added a brand new class, Ethernet Technology and Programming, to our schedule. In order to attend this class, the customer must to know MINT programming. To help prepare those customers who want to attend this class, we have scheduled a couple of MINT classes prior to the date of the first Ethernet class.
We are moving all generator classes from Oshkosh to Fort Smith next year.

Upgrade Motors to Offset Electricity Costs Continuing Their Rise Increased oil and gas costs have pushed energy costs to record levels. Many electric utilities are raising prices to record levels. Ian example is Maryland, where electric rates are being raised by 72 percent effective July 1 of this year. On the other hand, many electric utilities are providing rebates for motors and drives at record levels, many expending their funds early into the year.
