Baldor's H2 Drive is a Product of the Year finalist
Consulting Specifying Engineer magazine

Consulting Specifying Engineer magazine has recognized the H2 Drive as a Product of the Year Finalist in the June issue.

The H2 is the second generation of Baldor’s H-series control. It has an enhanced keypad with 5 lines of English text and 4 tables of memory for cloning additional controls. It has the unique ability to maintain its memory in the event of a fault, while protecting the high power components, thus preventing a catastrophic failure.

H2 can continue to operate even during low voltage line conditions and phase loss occurrences. The H2 utilizes Space Vector technology to provide more torque to the motor than the competitive Sine-Triangle modulation technology in use today.

The H2 drive has the ability to continue operations during brief power outages and low line voltage or phase loss conditions. The H2 drive either reduces power or uses the inertia of the motor to continue operation during these brief voltage transient problems. The control has a unique Web Server option that allows you to “surf the drive” from a remote site much like any website on-line.
