Baldor’s New “Industrial Stength” Stainless Steel Brushless Servo Motors Rolls Off The Production Line Baldor has a new line of “industrial strength” brushless servo motors. Their unique feature is that they are totally stainless steel - from the housing, to the shaft, to the connectors – they even include laser etched nameplates. Designed to handle harsh, corrosive environments – they are durable enough to handle IP67 and 1500 psi washdown conditions. Additionally, these new unique stainless steel brushless servo motor, the SSBSM-series, meets or exceeds the requirements of BISSC, UL, CSA, and CE.

Baldor is greatly extending its H2 family of AC motor drives for adjustable speed applications - with new higher power options, washdown-duty variants, and more plug-in expansion cards. Highlights include 26 new AC motor drives that extend the upper power rating from 45 to 93 kW, a further selection of drives available in washdown-duty enclosures, and a programmable 'pulse-follower' board that allows users to link drives in sophisticated ways - including electronic gearing.

NextMove e100 - Ethernet Controller

The NextMove e100 builds on the proven NextMove controller family of products and now integrates management of real-time Ethernet networks using the industry standard protocol ETHERNET Powerlink. Drives, I/O devices, sensors, absolute encoders can be added to the Powerlink network and controlled from the Mint programming language. This greatly simplifies system design and installation, and simultaneously expands the capabilities of the NextMove e100 as a machine control platform.
