H1B Cap has Been Reached
The CIS reports that the limit of 65,000 new H1B visas has been reached as of 2/17/04. CIS will only accept applications for those H1Bs that are exempt from the cap or those applications with a start date of October 1, 2004. Read the USCIS press release and our comments.

Visa Bulletin
For current priority dates for family and business immigration
All categories of business immigration, including unskilled workers, continue to be current, which means that all workers with approved visa numbers can apply for adjustment of status or consular processing. If you have an approved I140 and have not applied for adjustment of status (the final phase of the permanent residence application), now is the time to do it.
