Music Industry Wins Suit - Linking to Pirated Content Illegal!
THE music industry has claimed a big win against piracy in the
Australian courts last week. Thirty-one applicants, including seven
international music labels successfully sued the operators of
MP3s4free.net for breaching the Australian Copyright Act. The Age
newspaper claims the win is significant because the case determined
that linking to pirated material, and not just downloading it, is an
infringement of copyright under Australian law...

availability of its Parent File Scan software. The Windows-based
application helps users identify illegal files stored on their
