The latest stats for July: 6,954,476 domains and 983,273 IP addresses are now running PHP (source: Netcraft). Zend (http://www.zend.com) is offering support and serious add-on products to help PHP continue to penetrate the enterprise. Their recently added sections include a "Why PHP" area (http://www.zend.com/why-php.php) which is well worth reading.
