Traveling, whether alone or with the whole family, requires a dependable vehicle with enough space for all of your belongings. Luckily, the 2018 Subaru Impreza is customizable with a strong focus on utility. You can choose between four-door sedan and five-door hatchback configurations of the Impreza depending on your needs.
The 2018 Subaru Impreza is available at four trim levels: 2.0i, 2.0i Premium, 2.0i Sport and 2.0i Limited.
Performance and efficiency
The 2018 Subaru Impreza is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter BOXER DOHC four-cylinder engine, producing 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. You can pair the four-cylinder to a fully-synchronized five-speed manual transmission or an available Lineartronic® Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with Adaptive Control. The CVT is offered standard on the 2.0i Premium with a seven-speed manual mode and paddle shifters. When the Impreza is equipped with the five-speed manual transmission, it earns up to 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.* The CVT gives the Impreza an efficiency boost, earning 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway across all trim levels.*
All trims are equipped with Subaru Symmetric All-Wheel Drive, giving you extra control off-road or during inclement weather.
The smaller configuration of the 2018 Subaru Impreza is a four-door sedan. While this configuration sacrifices cargo space, it’s far easier to maneuver. The Impreza sedan comes with roof racking capabilities, allowing you to bring all of your luggage and gear with you. The cabin is also equipped with 60/40 split flat-folding rear seatbacks for additional interior cargo space.
The five-door hatchback configuration offers a far more versatile cabin for storage and hauling. With up to 100.9 cubic feet of cargo space inside, you won’t have to leave anything behind. The hatchback Impreza also comes with a wide rear gate opening for easy access.
Whether you’re driving the capable four-door sedan or the cargo-inspired five-door hatchback, you’ll be able to bring everything you need, and then some, with the 2018 Subaru Impreza.
