Teens, the Car Care Council Women’s Board Wants to See Your Wheels

Bethesda, MD – The Car Care Council Women’s Board (WB) has added a new category to its annual Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) calling for teens to “Show Us Your Wheels” for a chance to win an iPod.

In a video no longer than three minutes, the Women’s Board wants to know why you are passionate about your vehicle and how you maintain it. To enter, post your video to YouTube and fill out the form that is available on the homepage of the Women’s Board Web site at women.carcare.org. Please be sure to include your YouTube video link when submitting the entry form.

There is no charge for entries and the deadline is Friday, Oct. 1, 2010.

In addition to receiving an iPod, the winner’s video will be shown during the Women’s Board award reception on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas. The video will also be posted to the Women’s Board Web site.

“We are very excited about the new ‘Show Us Your Wheels’ video contest and can’t wait to see all of the entries,” said Katie Noga, Women’s Board president. “Not only is this a great way for teens to show off their cars, but it’s also a way to get the Women’s Board name out to a whole new generation of vehicle maintainers, as well as raise the awareness level of the automotive aftermarket industry.”

For more information on Show Us Your Wheels, contact Beatrice Livioco at beatrice.livioco@aftermarket.org or call (301) 654-6664.
