Help your local school start the year off right!

It's hard to believe that back to school season is already here, but it's evident in the elaborate displays and surplus of bins overflowing with items like glue sticks, crayons, pencils and notebooks at retailers everywhere.

While the average American parent will spend over $100 on traditional school supply items, for many families this is an expense they simply can't afford. But, you can help! Host a school supply drive in your store and give back to the less fortunate children in your community. Encourage customers and prospects to join in and collect donated supplies in your sales and service departments. The initiative will without a doubt spark customer participation and drive traffic to your door.

Last year, a CO dealer hosted a Back to School Supply Drive and quickly realized amazing results - 963 ROs for $180K in service revenue and 9 vehicle sales!

Relevant Information Drives Response
Consider content that your customers find helpful - delivering messaging around those topics is sure to generate traffic!

Hosting a school supply drive is one way to drive extra traffic, but if you're looking to boost service business specifically, you may want to consider delivering some maintenance tips as your customers re-enter the carpool. Back to school season is the perfect time to inform your customers of vehicle wear items that need to be inspected or replaced before the start of the school year. Be sure to create a call to action for your customers by including coupons for safety items in your communication.

Last year, a TX dealer communicated Back to School Vehicle Tips and returned 1061 ROs for $201K in service revenue and 18 vehicle sales!
