Winamac, IN — BraunAbility, the world’s largest manufacturer of wheelchair accessible vans, ramps and wheelchair lifts, has announced the appointment of Doug Schumacker as the company’s new Director of Marketing.
Prior to joining BraunAbility, Doug spent over 20 years working at General Motors in Detroit, Michigan, where he served in various marketing roles, including National Marketing Manager for the Oldsmobile Division and later for the company’s Cadillac Division. Most recently he managed the Cadillac Division’s accessories and aftermarket area.

In his new role, Doug will be responsible for leading the company’s existing marketing efforts, which integrate both traditional (advertising and marketing efforts) and non-traditional initiatives (pay-per-click/search engine optimization) as well as building and implementing new strategies for continued growth and development.
