RDP Motorsport USA, a leader in the custom-build automotive industry, is now on the cutting edge of marketing as well by connecting with customers through text messaging thanks to a partnership with j. simms agency and its mobile communication division.

RDP Motorsport USA is using short message service -- otherwise known as text messaging -- to provide customers with the ability to receive exclusive discounts, special event invitations, video clips and contest offers on all cellular devices. This exclusive communication system allows any mobile user to control when, how and where they receive or request real-time information. It also allows the user to respond to texts to collect information back from RDP instantly.

There is no cost to join RDP’s Motorsport’s text-messaging program, yet standard text message rates do apply. Users can elect to self-register for any of a number of program-specific text message lists by sending designated keywords via text to a permanent five-digit shortcode. A permission-based technology, mobile users can opt-out at anytime.
