Auto/Mate Integrates Carfax Vehicle History Reports with DMS

CLIFTON PARK, NY - Auto/Mate Dealership Systems, developers of user-friendly and cost-effective dealer management software solutions, announced Carfax Vehicle History Reports have been integrated into the company’s Automotive Management Productivity Suite (AMPS). Dealer customers can now view and obtain Carfax Reports right from AMPS, a comprehensive dealer management system (DMS). The integration gives dealers faster, more convenient access to used vehicle history information from Carfax to help drive sales.

“Carfax is a trusted source of vehicle history data and an ideal partner for this new service offering,” said Mike Esposito, CEO of Auto/Mate. “Now AMPS dealer clients can easily retrieve Carfax reports from their DMS console with only a few keystrokes to better assist buyers in their purchasing decision.”

Dealer’s can generate a Carfax report using AMPS’ Customer/Mate CRM module by simply clicking on the Carfax logo located on the vehicle inquiry screen. The report can then be viewed, printed from the screen, or emailed. Carfax Vehicle History Reports can also be generated from AMPS’ trade-in entry screen to help determine the vehicles trade-in value.

Carfax Vehicle History Reports provide vital information to millions of buyers and sellers of used cars, including ownership history, mileage and vehicle damage reports.

“Carfax and Auto/Mate are fully committed to making Carfax Vehicle History Reports readily accessible to our dealer customers,” said Larry Gamache, communications director at Carfax. “Using the information in the Carfax Report, dealers can stock the right cars at the right price to maximize their profitability with each sale.”

AMPS is currently installed at more than 400 dealerships nationwide. The system has more than 20 modules to meet every dealer’s needs, including Sales, F&I, Fixed Operations, Accounting and CRM.
