Managed Video Conferencing and Federal Integration contribute equally to profitability, with continued momentum through first quarter of 2009

ROCKLEDGE, FL and KENNESAW, GA, May 7, 2009 — Applied Global Technologies® (AGT), a leader in managed video conferencing services and emergency response communications, announces a 60% annual increase over 2007 revenue and a record $2.5M EBITDA for 2008. Demand for enterprise managed services, AGT’s service provider products, and federal integration projects continued to accelerate throughout the year and into the first quarter of 2009. “Our strong financial results demonstrate our ability to provide the best price/performance solutions in A/V integration, video infrastructure tools, managed services, and custom Federal/DOD projects,” stated Mike Valletutti, CEO. Strong demand for managed services and from video conferencing service providers for infrastructure and management tools resulted in international deployment of AGT products ENCORE, FATHOM, ANALYTICS, and PRISM. “By strengthening our managed services capability through the use of our internal R&D, our clients are experiencing higher service levels, resulting in increased usage and adoption of video conferencing” said Mark Cray, Executive VP - PerfectMeetings. Large Federal integration projects dominated 2008, capped off by the one of the largest high-definition (HD) video conferencing deployments in a US civilian agency. “Our ability to manage, design, and deploy nationwide integration projects has made AGT the preferred contractor for video conferencing, A/V, and emergency response communications” explained Mike Garvey, Executive VP - AGTFederal.
