National Association of Credit Management Honors Eddie Sumar With 2004 NACM CCE Designation of Excellence

June 9, 2004: Los Angeles, California—The National Association of Credit Management(NACM) announced that it has honored Eddy Sumar, CBA, CBF, CCE with the NACM CCE Designation of Excellence Award for 2004, at its annual Credit Congress.

Mr. Sumar is the International Trade Financing Manager at Rain Bird International, Inc. in Glendora, California where he helps the company and its subsidiaries to seek multimillion dollar projects that require medium-term financing.

Mr. Sumar earned his Credit Business Associate (CBA)designation in November 1997, his Credit Business Fellow (CBF) in July 1998, and his Certified Credit Executive® (CCE®) designation in November 1998. He earned his Certified International Credit Executive (CICE) designation from NACM’s international arm—Finance,Credit and International Business (FCIB) in 2004. In addition to his NACM designations,Mr. Sumar has earned the Certified Expert Witness certificate through NACM’s extensive educational program, and has attended the NACM Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management®.

Mr. Sumar attended the Executive Management program at the University of California, Riverside; received a BA in Business Administration from Bethlehem University, Israel, in 1984; and received his MBA, with distinction, from Leicester University, UK in 2004.

A member of NACM’s Affiliate, CMA Business Credit Services, Mr. Sumar has served as an instructor and speaker for NACM sessions, has contributed articles to NACM’s premier publication, Business Credit magazine, and has served on numerous NACM and FCIB committees.

The National Association of Credit Management congratulates Mr. Sumar on his receipt of this distinguished award.
