We The Media Credit Conference
www.wethemedia.biz
Registration is now available for the “We The Media” Conference, a unique educational and networking opportunity for credit professionals working in all media businesses, including broadcast, print, and Internet. The conference will be held on April 12 and 13, 2004 in Burbank, CA, and you can find all program and registration information on the official “We The Media” Web site at http://www.WeTheMedia.biz. CMA is proud to be co-hosting this special event with the Media Credit Association (MCA), located in New York, which represents publishers on the East Coast. For the past 15 years, in New York City, MCA has conducted some of the finest and most popular workshops available for the professional education and development of media credit, collection and accounts receivable professionals. For this conference, we are inviting credit professionals from CMA’s six media-related credit groups, as well as members of the New York print and broadcast credit groups, and members from other NACM media credit groups. On Monday, April 12, the conference will open with a 90-minute legal panel discussion addressing special rules for political advertising. Afterwards, there will be a reception for all conference attendees and their guests, which will feature exhibitors from several different industry-related software, collection and technology companies. Workshop registration and continental breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13. There will be a full day of speakers, panels and roundtables that will attempt to address credit issues that pertain specifically to the media industry. Registration for “We The Media” is only $75 for CMA members; $99 for non-members. The fee includes hors d’oeuvers and drinks at the Monday night reception; continental breakfast and lunch during Tuesday’s program. Please join us in the media capital of the West to network live with your peers in magazine, newspaper, broadcast and the Internet to share ideas and discuss solutions to the challenges in managing media receivables. If you have any questions about the conference, visit the Web site or contact Mike Mitchell at mmitchell@creditservices.org or (818) 972-5340. We look forward to seeing you there. http://www.WeTheMedia.biz
