How carefully should you review job applications and Resume. Perhaps a favorite family story will help illustrate the need for scrutiny!

A few years ago, my son, Matt, worked a job at a summer camp which entailed driving supplies down a steep road in the Sierras. One day word arrived that several toilets had been donated to the camp and he was sent to pack them up and haul them in. Later while talking with another counselor at camp, (a college kid who was discussing resumes and job searches following graduation), my son asked how he should describe this part of his job. The college kid thought for a moment, then said, "The toilets are made of ceramic, and they were donated at no cost, so put down 'transported priceless ceramics'."
