CMA's Employee of the Year

|
Cindy Briceno has worked for CMA for just under 28 years, joining us in early 1976. She began working in the Credit Interchange Bureau (CIB) as a general clerical person, and joined the data entry department within a couple of years. It wasn’t until 1986 that she was sent to the accounting department to tackle the new computerized billing system obtained in the acquisition of NACM North Central located in San Leandro. | As a side note, when Cindy first applied for a job at CMA, she wrote on her application that the reason for leaving her prior job was because they had just put in a new computer system and they needed a skilled person. Cindy has contributed to streamlining the membership database and accounts receivable system throughout the years. She acts as a liaison between the association’s members and the CMA staff by communicating with all departments to resolve customer problems, and often has to deal with the mistakes and oversights of others. She does this in a friendly and professional manner, and is an excellent representative for CMA. Everyone knows she is always willing to help customers and her fellow employees in any way she can.
