CMA News Survey Results
a resounding YES!
by Dina Amadril

Special thanks to the readers of the first edition of CMA News who answered our survey. The results are in and it was an overall “thumbs-up” for the new format.

Two questions repeatedly came up during the survey.
  1. Will CMA News be archived? Yes the previous issues of CMA News will be archived and the archives can be reached by going to: http://www.imakenews.com/anscers/index.cfm?archive=T
  2. Do I need to sign up for CMA News? No if you received CMA News by email you are already signed up for future issues. If you would like more of your staff to receive CMA News they can subscribe by submitting their email addresses in the “Subscribe Box”
Here are some of the result highlights:

CMA is not only a longstanding organization, our members also show their commitment to CMA and the credit industry by their length of time as members.

The bar graph below relates to the survey question; Why do you read CMA News?

Please notice that Pictures is the lowest rated reason for reading CMA News, but the statistics behind the first issue show the “In Pictures” topic having the fourth highest hit rate.

Do you have any suggestions to help improve CMA News?

• Articles were good.  A little difficult to move around between articles but just a new format I need to get use to.  I really like that it is electronic though!
• Better contrast on left hand side of web page or different fonts.
• Calendar should list the various group meetings.
• CONTINUE AS BEFORE
• Great job!  Hooray for our side!  Now will this come to me regularly or do I have to sign up.  I was a bit confused about that.  Suzanne Koch
• Happy Day.  It looks like we are on the way from our former means of communication.  Don Dreyer
• I get WAY too much literature from CMA and most of it goes into the recycling bin.  Cut down on the mailings.
• I need more data!  The article on the Western Region Congress did not list the dates!!!
• I think that emailing the short version with the option to go to the main newsletter for the longer one is an excellent approach.
• I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO READ THE WHOLE NEWS LETTER,SO PLEASE DISREGARD MY PREVIOUS COMMENT.
• keep them flowing. Thanks for your effort and great results.
• KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
• looks great for the first issue... keep up the good work
• No, just keep up the good work.
• Not at this time....
• Reduce pop-up screens: Whenever you click on a new topic, the log-in screen pops up each time.
• Seems a bit busy, with all the columns and selection choices.
• The newsletter should be similar to the printed format and have pages that one can go to (next page or go to page __)instead of skipping around and possibly missing something important.
• Will issues be archived?  Especially articles that might be a good resource.
