Imagine this: you are in 1st Century Rome. You stand before a massive temple in the middle of a vast empire rich and diverse in cultures. Within the temple are two doors, one in front, one in back. Between the doors stands an imposing statue with two painted faces pointed in opposite directions. One looks toward the back door, reflecting on the past. The other peers ahead, into the future. This is, of course, the chief temple of Janus, god of gates and portals, patron of beginnings and endings. The following question was posted recently to the anscers Community Bulletin Board:
"I put a hold on about $50k multiple orders from one of our customers due to valid reasons. Some orders (about $3k) released from few weeks ago got shipped out a day before I advised everyone in the organization of credit hold. Then I got a word from sales that this customer will file CH 11 in a week. Any recommendations in handling reclamation process?"

Updating Customer Credit Applications

"How can I get my old customers to update their credit application and get new customers to fill out our credit appplication with out a fuss? Some do not want to fill it out and/or sign it and others do not want to give out information, but yet they want terms."
