Vernon Green is our Employee spotlight this month. Vern is our new secondary Finance Manager. He has been in the car business for seventeen years. He has known Brian Webb for quite some time and when he was ready to make a change in employment Brian let him know we were in need of a secondary Finance Manager. A secondary Finance Manager specializes in helping people who have had some credit issues and would have a more difficult time qualifying for an Auto loan. He uses his skills and contacts to work hard for these customers and allow them to purchase a vehicle. When he got his first job in a dealership he never thought it would become his career. He started as a part-time porter at Bob Watson Chevrolet in Harvey, Illinois. Over the years he has worked in almost all areas of the dealership including the parts department, as a service advisor, a sales manager and finally ending up in the finance department.
Vern is originally from the Chicago area. He attended Purdue University and has lived in Indianapolis since 1995. He is happily single and has one daughter. Seventeen year old Markita is a senior this year. She has just attained a 4.0 grade point average and is striving to attend Brown University when she graduates. He is very proud of her and hopes she will receive a scholarship so he doesn’t go broke paying for college! Vern lives in Eagle Creek with eight year old Molly. Molly is a Spaniel Chow mix. When he wants to relax he enjoys playing x box and listening to oldies from the sixties. Please say hello to Vern and welcome him to Andy Mohr Chevrolet.
