For years GHH has had a dream to be able to open a second shelter to offer more women  a  safe place to heal and recover. We have always had a heart to shelter children as well.  Now we can!

We have just been handed the keys to a beautiful new “retreat”  to expand our services and provide an overwhelming 28 new shelter beds to women and children in need in Orange County!

This incredible  blessing takes shape as an  amazing property upon which stands two complete houses and three additional apartments ! There are a total of 11 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 5 kitchens  plus a meeting room , an office and even space for a  computer lab!!   We can  begin to move women in as soon as we can furnish and decorate the space.  A waiting list of anxious women and children  is already growing and you can help us give these women and children a home for the holidays !!!

Adopt a room!                                                                                                                                                                                                              Take on a Holiday project with your family or a group of friends – make a house a home by leaving your lasting and personal touch!

Sponsor  an item of furniture or household items. (Contact us for complete list) Maybe you have some of these things (in good condition) in your garage. If not, maybe you could shop for the item, or send us a check to cover the cost. WE NEED EVERYTHING!  From bunk beds to twin sheet and comforter sets, to pots and pans, toasters, silverware, inspirational wall hangings –imagine a completely empty space and help us to make it a HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
