Ampro Computers introduces its newest product, the ReadyBoard™ 830 EPIC single board computer based on Intel's latest processors and the 945GME chipset. The ReadyBoard 830 integrates a single or dual-core processor, RAM, graphics, networking and robust I/O, making it ideal for applications such as industrial automation, multimedia kiosks, gaming, and medical devices.
Featuring your choice of a 1.66GHz Intel® Core™ Duo L2400 or 1.07GHz ULV Celeron® processor, the ReadyBoard 830 boasts two SODIMM sockets for up to 4GB of 533MHz DDR2 RAM and an Intel GMA950 built-in graphics display that can support CRTs, flat panels and wide screen digital TVs at resolutions of up to 2048x1536. An onboard video encoder adds TV-out capabilities such as HDTV (420p, 720p, and 1080i), Component, and S-Video.

Ampro Increases Warranty on Rugged and Industrial Products
Extreme rugged products maintain industry leading warranty

Ampro is extending its warranty on all rugged and industrial products effective June 2, 2008. The new two year warranty period covers all products shipped after June 2 from any defects from material or workmanship and applies to the rugged EPIC ReadyBoard™ single board computer and ReadySystem™ Fanless embedded computer, as well as the industrial Mini-ITX MightyBoard™, ReadyBoard, COM Express, ETX®, XTX, Mini-ITX based MightySystem™, EPIC based ReadySystem™ and ReadyPanel™ products.
Industry Best Extreme Rugged Warranty
Ampro’s extreme rugged products will maintain their industry leading three-year warranty. The extreme rugged products are able to withstand temperatures from -40° to +85°C, severe shock and vibration and HALT requirements which suits industries such as military/defense, avionics and transportation. Ampro’s extreme rugged product lines include the PC/104 CoreModule™ and EBX LittleBoard™ SBCs, COM Express and ETX computer-on-modules and the RuffSystem™ embedded computer.
