In order for military, avionics, transportation and industrial system manufacturers to leverage existing enclosures while upgrading performance, the once thought impenetrable 1GHz barrier for rugged PC/104 Single Board Computers had to be broken. Ampro Computers’ new, rugged, 1GHz CoreModule™ 800 is able to accomplish such a feat with a number of technological breakthroughs in fitting a complete CPU subsystem with I/O, PCI-104 bus expansion and network interfaces without violating the 3.55” x 3.75” board outline.
