Two Commercial Applications built Rapidly in Alpha Five Version 7
A networked desktop reservation system for hotels and motels, and an enterprise web (browser based) medical personnel relationship management system designed for hospital physician tracking.
As more companies discover the productivity of Alpha Five v7, we are seeing a surge in the number of people submitting applications to us for review and to show off what they've done.
Lately, we have seen two very impressive commercial applications that were recently completed very rapidly and easily using Alpha Five v7 and we would like to share them with you.
One is a medical personnel relationship management system called MDOffice Track. It was built by Pace Training Group, Inc. (Yes, they do more than just training.) This application is worth checking out. We have a series of screenshots as well as a 12 minute video tour. These can be found on our Real Alpha Applications page.
The second application is a guest management/reservation system for hotels and motels. The application was built by Mike Thomson of Alpha One Software, our partner in Australia. The system is called A1-RES Reservation System. Screenshots of the application and explanations can also be found on our Real Alpha Applications page.
Do you have an application you would like to show us? Please send an email to richard@alphasoftware.com.

Case Study: St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital
Cole Custom Programming tackles a big job with Alpha Five
St. Luke’s Methodist Hospital needed a system to manage billing, scheduling, and other data. Furthermore, as a hospital, the application needed to be HIPAA compliant. And it had to be accessible from any of almost 200 workstations. Big job right?
Well, Using Alpha Five, Martin Cole from Cole Custom Programming got it done. And he says that it took a fraction of the time it would have taken using any other platform.
You can see the complete St. Luke's case study on our Case Studies Page.
Have an interesting project? We'd love to do a case study!
