From the editors: This issue marks the third anniversary of the Alpha Newsletter. When we started, we weren't sure if we'd get enough material to continue for more than 2 years - and here we are at 3! It's been a very interesting journey, and we have both learned a great deal as a result of editing all the articles.

However, we still need material from our readers. Remember, you don't have to be a writer to submit an article - all we need is a description of how you have used Alpha, either to solve a particular problem, or to make life easier for you (or your customer). Or, maybe you have used one of Alpha's lesser-known functions, and would like to share what you've learned. If you have an idea, send it to us. We'll do what's necessary to make it presentable.
