In a recent thread on the message board concerning an article about Alpha Five in InfoWorld (Alpha Five Takes on Access), Richard Rabins asked if anyone had suggestions promoting Alpha Software.  Here are some of the responses:

"Have you considered contacting a few PC manufacturers and offering an extended trial version that can be shipped on their PC's?"

"...get the standard 30-day trial version on as many promotional CD's as possible..."

"...include with their "Free-Trial" a library of applications submitted by us, the current users of the product.  Simple apps that make our daily lives a little more organized could be included as freeware  More complex apps could be included as "Free-Trial" software that would demonstrate Alpha Five's power, while providing those of us who wish to market our apps a vehicle to do so."

"...[have] people submit screen shots of their application forms.  That...really illustrates how creative people are [with Alpha]."

"A lot of computer magazines...offer CD's containing numerous demo's and limited-time applications.  Perhaps there is some way to include a trial copy of Alpha Five on such CD's."
