Reduction in AIS Price Adjustment
AIS has lowered its previously announced price adjustment to 0.5% of net effective January 1, 2009.
Staying true to who we are and continuing our goal to remain the leading value player in the marketplace, AIS has decreased its announced price increase to 0.5% of Net, effective January 1, 2009. This replaces the previously published 3.5% of Net announcement on October 30, 2008. The 2.5% surcharge line item has been eliminated and is now reflected in the new AIS list pricing. AIS’ new pricing will affect all orders beginning January 1, 2009. Orders with 2008 pricing must be placed by December 31, 2008 and must ship by March 30th, 2009 to waive new 2009 pricing.
To remain increasingly competitive, Storage towers, lateral files and storage cabinets items are not impacted by the price adjustment and are decreasing in price.
Product libraries (CAP/GIZA) will be available for download the mid-end of December reflecting new pricing. AIS is constructing a new print catalog to include these changes. The catalog will be mailed to the dealer community end of December and a new online version will also be available at that time.
