GSA Discount Pricing Modification

AIS is pleased to announce, effective immediately, a modification to our GSA contract. We have conducted in depth analysis of every AIS sale from FY 2007, and in reviewing details for our best commercial customer group, we were able to extend additional discount considerations on all GSA pricing tiers. Consistent with our current GSA contract, GSA will pay delivery charges on all orders under $7500 list, up to 15% of the net order value, consistent with our current commercial practices.

The pricing structure is effective immediately and should be used on all new government quotations.

 

AIS has also added project management services to our GSA contract under Sin #711-91 the fee structure is $70.00 per hour.  All proposals that incorporate these services will require a description of the services rendered in their statement of work and government proposal.

 

AIS’s understanding of the services expected are the following:

 

·   Project management services for new furniture projects requiring design,
installation or reconfiguration.

·   Services must be used with furniture procurements only.

·   Development of plans, schedules and strategies.

·   Identification of and recommending resolution for issues related to project design and
installation.

·   Ensuring timely and consistent communication

·   Management of design and layout process

·   Ensuring compliance with building codes

·   Coordinating review and approval process for design.

·   Coordination of deliveries and installation with customer.

·   Scheduling of loading docks.

·   Documentation of building damage before and after installation.

·   Ensuring compliance with security requirements.

·   On-site oversight of delivery and installation.

·   Review of deliveries and installations to ensure compliance to scope of work,
installation standards and accurate placement of furniture.

·   Quality assurance.

·   Development of punch lists and any corrections needed.

·   Management of logistics of furniture installation.

As an additional reminder, the fuel surcharge is in effect and represents 2.5% of the product value for all orders placed at this time.
