Sharp launches new high performance printers

The new MX-M MFPs, which are intended for everyday use in busy offices, include some of the most advanced features that have been successful in Sharp’s colour MFPs, such as a remote operation facility (VNC) and a customisable touch-screen display.

The range comprises seven new models, meaning customers can choose the device that best suits their business requirements, including their financial resources.

The high performance MX-M503N, MX-M453N and MX-M363N, have output speeds of up to 50, 45 and 36ppm (pages per minute) respectively.  These high performance models also offer an advanced Duplex Single Pass Document Feeder (DSPF) designed to make scanning and copying fast and effecient, an 8.5 inch colour touchscreen with thumbnail previews and, they all come with printing at a true 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution and colour scanning as standard.  In addition, these models offer the options of faxing as well as Sharp’s award winning integrated retractable keyboard.

In addition to these three high performance models, Sharp is also introducing the MX-M283N, which copies and prints at 28ppm.  This model emulates its bigger brothers in all aspects except one – the DSPF has been replaced by an RSPF (Reversing Single Pass Document Feeder), which is designed to help reduce costs in less intensive scan environments.

Also included in the range are the MX-M503U, MX-M453U, and MX-M363U.  The MX-M503U, MX-M453U and MX-M363U models print and copy at speeds of up to 50, 45 and 36ppm respectively.  All three devices come with an RSPF as standard, an 8.1 inch black and white touchscreen, and are designed to support specific customer requirements by offering optional printing at 600 x 600 dpi print resolution, optional black and white scanning and optional faxing.

All models are ideal for busy offices that produce large volumes or that regularly have to cope with urgent deadlines, and with the addition of three optional finishers it gives the customer complete flexibility for a greater return on investment.  All MFPs in the range feature Sharp’s contemporary grained exterior design for increased aesthetic appeal.

Sharp is committed to raising workgroup productivity by making MFPs as easy-to-use as possible and this approach is evident in the latest MX-M devices.
