IP Pool Update
Get to know three IPs who recently joined the a-connect IP pool
Since the publication of the last a-connect Newsletter, 127 new IPs have been recruited into the a-connect IP pool: 69 in the Americas, 33 in Europe, and 25 in Asia Pacific. Total number of certified a-connect IPs today is 677. In this issue, we would like to introduce three of them to you:
- Jonathon, a seasoned executive in the finance and technology sectors based in Singapore
- Marc-Oliver, an analytical project manager focused on commodity based materials in the chemicals and plastics industry, based in France
- Scott, a strategic sales and alliances expert in the software industry based in the US

1. IP Jonathon, Asia
 Singapore based IP Jonathon is a seasoned executive in the finance and technology sector and a payments expert who assists businesses establish themselves and their products/services throughout the Asia-Pacific region. With over 15 years in the region, his track-record includes successful engagements with large global payment organizations, multi-national technology companies as well as start-ups. Jonathon specializes in Near Field Communications and mobile payments, and has successfully introduced new technology into the mobile payments arena providing a base for large-scale implementations over the longer-term.
Jonathon brings a unique strength to his work – bridging the gap between western companies and culture with Asian markets, staff and their cultures. He has worked in and managed teams in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, India, Belgium and the US.
2. IP Marc-Oliver, France
 Frace based IP Marc-Oliver is a highly analytical commodities expert across the entire value chain, with strong project management skills and deep content driven capabilities. He has been independent since 2006, with a focus on commodities as well as due diligence work for PE firms in the chemicals, plastics & mining commodities industry. Prior to this, Marc-Oliver was a senior manager at Monitor for 6 years, and a research fellow at Ecole Normale Superieure for 3 years.
Marc-Oliver has a unique ability to develop and motivate his team members as well as clients, with a clear focus on analytics and problem solving. He has worked across the US and Europe.
3. IP Scott, US
 Us based Scott is a software industry expert and an experienced sales & operations professional, who enjoys projects where he can have a direct impact. With a strong operational background in software sales and business development for large multinational companies (including Siebel systems, Nucleus Research, etc), together with rigorous consulting experience with Bain's LBO team in the internet/e-commerce industry. Prior to Bain, Scott also served as a helicopter pilot in the US Army.
Scott has an intense personality with a deep focus on impact, together with a strong motivation towards quality. He has worked in the US, as well as in various European countries.
