Untitled Document Alan Godes, Managing Director of the Business World Merger and Acquisition Group in Auburn, Mass., received the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation during IBBA’s recent 37th Biannual Educational Program and Conference in Orlando, Florida. Business brokers are the intermediaries for owners who want to buy or sell their businesses.

Paul Serotkin, President of Minuteman Ventures, Burlington, Mass., will be speaking at the 5th Annual Strategic Research Institute Defense and Aerospace Investor, Customer and Supplier conference, held Sept. 21-23 in San Diego. Serotkin will address “Selling Smaller Defense Companies.” Minuteman Ventures LLC is a specialist investment bank focused on the defense and federal technology market.

Russ Robb, Managing Director of Atlantic Management Company, Inc. of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, announces the recent publication of a new book, “The Best of M & A Today”, which he co-edited with Tom West. This 8 1/2" x 11" book with 320 pages has over 130 articles on mergers and acquisitions, half of which are written by contributing authors and the balance by the M & A Today staff.
