EasyTally of Performance
The "EasyTally of Performance" software was developed to support clinicians to manage a variety of tasks online during treatment programs designed for individuals with motor speech disorders (e.g., apraxia). Session data are entered on a Tablet during treatment, stored and then transferred to a spreadsheet for review and analysis. For computers with Microsoft Windows XP and VISTA, the software is available (without cost) on a CD.
With the support of the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center in Communication Enhancement (AAC-RERC) and funded by the National Institute for Disability Rehabilitation Research, EasyTally was developed by Laura Ball, David Beukelman, Wendy Quach, and Tom Jakobs of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, UNMC Munroe – Meyer Institute for Genetics and Rehabilitation, and InvoTek Inc. The software is described in a technical report: Quach, W., Ball, L., Rupp, D., & Beukelman, D. (2006). A Computer Software Prototype for Monitoring Speech Motor Learning Performance in (Childhood) Apraxia of Speech. Journal of Medical Speech Language Pathology. 14, 285-290. Go to http://aac.unl.edu/announce.html for more specific information. If you wish to have an EasyTally CD (Application and Electronic Manual) sent to you, please e-mail your request to sbarden2@unl.edu. To receive a copy you must include your name, mailing and e-mail addresses.
