We are extraordinarily pleased to announce that the AAC-RERC Writers Brigade is being honored at AAC’s infamous Bubbly Ball.  

Co-hosted by USSAAC and Microsoft, the evening focuses on the accomplishments of the many people who use AAC technologies around the world. This year's theme is "The Writer's Brigade Takes On The World." Accepting the honor for ALL participants (current and past) is (virtually) Johana Schwartz, Project Manager of the AAC-RERC’s Writers Brigade. Johana will introduce three representatives of the Brigade who are attending the Ball and who will be accepting on behalf of the AAC-RERC Writers Brigade participants.

A room of hundreds will be hearing from Johana Schwartz (by video from Minnesota) and in vivo from Lateef McLeod (from Berkeley, CA), Matt Kim (from Los Angeles, CA) and Tom Younkerman (from Denver, CO) as they each share their thoughts on the theme.

Those WBers who are being honored, but will not be attending are: Rebecca Barbush (GA), Lauren Baxter (MI), David Chappel (OH), Bill Geluso (NY), Joe Hemphill (CA), Mick Joyce (WI), Pam Kennedy (GA) and Tracy Rackensperger (GA).

The AAC-RERC partners wish to congratulate all participants in the Writers Brigade and especially their team leader, Johana Schwartz, who has made this project such a success.
