On Tuesday, you received the e-mail below.  As of the end of the day 11/11, we were over 1/3 of the way home.  We received 15 NEW President’s Circle commitments in 2 days.  We need YOU to help us continue this momentum so we can successfully announce that we have received 50 new President’s Circle members by Monday, 11/16.
 
PLEASE….those of you who might have been supporting Siena’s Annual Fund in the $500 range—consider doubling your commitment for this year; those of you who, perhaps, have not been able to financially support Siena for the last few years, this would be a reaffirmation of your support.  REMEMBER….your gifts will be MATCHED and have DOUBLE the value.

As Chair of the Annual Fund, I’m pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for the Siena community. George ’54 and Sally Maloney have challenged Siena to increase the ranks of the President’s Circle donors by 50 or more in the next week.  For every new member of the President’s Circle (those who did not give $1,000 or greater to the 2008-2009 Annual Fund) who makes a pledge or gift between November 9^th and November 15^th of $1,000 or greater, George and Sally will match the gift up to a maximum of $50,000. 
 
The rules are simple – make your pledge or gift anytime between Monday November 9^th and SundayNovember 15^th of $1,000 or more and, once paid, it will be matched!  Results will be announced on Monday, November 16^th in honor of National Philanthropy Day!
 
Making your gift is easy! It can be done by donating on line at www.siena.edu/annualfund , by calling us at  1-888-SIENA4U, or by mailing your gift to the Annual Fund Office, Siena College, 515 Loudon Road, Loudonville, New York 12211.   Your gift will then be used immediately to offer significant financial aid to our most needy students and to continue programs that develop our students into competent and compassionate leaders.  Make your gift today and give Siena twice the benefit of your support!

“Some of you may know us from our philanthropic support of the Sarazen Student Union (Maloney Great Room); some of you may know us from our $1M challenge in 1997; many of you might not know us at all. Whatever the case may be, what we would like you to know is this…….Siena is the primary beneficiary of our philanthropy and, like many of you, our first love.  Over the years it has been our goal to not only help support Siena projects (buildings; scholarship endowments; program endowments; athletics, etc.), but also to help raise philanthropic awareness and leverage our gifts, whenever possible though fund raising CHALLENGES.
