2008 MAAC TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The 2008 MAAC Basketball Tournament returns to Albany, NY at the Times Union Center March 6th - 10th! The women's team has secured 6th place in the regular season and will face #3 Fairfield at 11:30 am on Friday, March 7th.
The men's team spent their last few games in a four way tie for first place but thanks to their win against Niagara and Marists defeat over Loyola last weekend, they were able to pull away from the pack and take the #1 spot in the tournament at 4:30 pm on Saturday, March 8th against either #8 Manhattan or #9 St. Peter's.
Both games will be telecast on the MSG network.
Tickets to any of the tournament games can be purchased at http://www.timesunioncenter-albany.com/ or by calling 1-800-30-EVENT. Please note, since this is a conference run event, the Office of Alumni Relations or Department of Athletics does not have tickets to sell. All ticket requests should be made directly through the arena.
PRE GAME GATHERING
We invite all alumni, parents, and friends to a pre game gathering at the University Club at the corner of Washington and Dove Streets starting at 2:30 pm. Cash bar and a light food menu will be offered. Visa, MasterCard or American Express only. Sorry, no cash. Please RSVP to alumni@siena.edu if you plan to attend the gathering.
